Kristin Chenoweth brings COMING HOME to Atlanta!
Multi-award-winning stage and screen superstar Kristin Chenoweth presents her concert KRISTIN CHENOWETH: COMING HOME, recently seen on PBS stations across the country, in Atlanta, Georgia, tonight, September 18.
Last year, shedding some light on her Oklahoma upbringing and her desire to film a concert in her hometown, Chenoweth recently said, "I wanted this to be something really special, that would help raise money, and that would show off this beautiful theater and make people aware of what's being done there in Broken Arrow."
"That's why it was always part of my plan to have these concerts filmed, " Chenoweth added.
Additionally, Chenoweth shared of what viewers can expect from the show, "I've been working with my new director, Kenny Ortega, in putting this show together... We've been working on some things I've wanted to do for a long time, as well as discovering new ways to think about things I've done in the past."
Plus, Chenoweth offered, "I'll have My Music director, Mary-Mitchell Campbell, and we'll bring a guitarist, bass player and drummer with us... The rest of the orchestra will be made up of local musicians, and I'm very excited by that. The whole concept of this evening is about coming home, and I wanted to include people from my hometown."
