HAMILTON, THE BAND'S VISIT, and More Set For 2019/2020 Broadway In Atlanta Season

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta has announced its 2019/2020 season line-up, featuring the return of HAMILTON and joined by ten time Tony Award and 2019 Grammy Award winner THE BAND'S VISIT, ANASTASIA, MISS SAIGON, HELLO, DOLLY!, Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and SUMMER: THE Donna Summer MUSICAL. Audience favorite, BLUE MAN GROUP, and the most popular show on Broadway, WICKED, are available as season options.

Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
September 24-29, 2019

Roald Dahl's amazing tale is now Atlanta's golden ticket! It's the perfect recipe for a delectable treat: songs from the original film, including "Pure Imagination," "The Candy Man," and "I've Got a Golden Ticket," alongside a toe-tapping and ear-tickling new score from the songwriters of Hairspray.

October 23 - November 17, 2019 - Season Option

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, WICKED, the Broadway sensation, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. WICKED looks at what happened in the Land of Oz... but from a different angle. After a mix-up at the border, an Egyptian police band is sent to a remote village in the middle of the Israeli desert. The winner of 10 2018 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, The Band's Visit celebrates the deeply human ways music, longing, and laughter can connect us all.

HELLO, DOLLY!
February 11-16, 2020

Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, Hello, Dolly! is the universally acclaimed smash that NPR calls "the best show of the year"! and the Los Angeles Times says "distills the mood-elevating properties of the American musical at its giddy best." SUMMER: THE Donna Summer MUSICAL
June 23-28, 2020

July 28 - August 2, 2020
