Let's face it: "Hamilton" tickets are way too expensive. As heartbreaking as it is, we just don't have that type of extra cash lying about. So Dad's Garage theatre is taking history into our own hands, and bringing to the stage tales of Benjamin Franklin, the amazing, underrated, X-rated, founding father. "Benjamin Franklin: American Gigolo" is a Dad's Garage world premiere scripted show running May 18-June 9 that will give you a glimpse into the naughty side of American history.

Benjamin Franklin's life has definitely given us plenty of comedic.... if slightly risque... material. Franklin's the man who invented the urinary catheter, so the weiner jokes write themselves. Franklin infamously once penned an essay entitled "Advice to a Young Man on the Choice of a Mistress" where he advises young men to hook up with much, much older women. We explore the genesis behind that essay, and Franklin's encounter with a very forward, 86 year old "Nana".

We'll be re-creating scenes of Franklin as a young lad of 17, running away from home and straight into the arms of two young women, while pretending, of course, to be a homosexual (a Three's Company spoof). We even delve into Franklin's obsession that the turkey was indeed a more fit national bird for young America. Is this fact? Fiction? A bit of both!

So if you can't afford "Hamilton" tickets, or don't have three years to be on the standby list... c'mon down to Dad's Garage for "Benjamin Franklin: American Gigolo" which is almost as good, and twice as sexy!
