Aurora Theatre has assembled the best children's performers in the region, bringing them to Gwinnett County in order to give parents and their children a chance to experience their artistry in our amazing facility in downtown Lawrenceville.
During the winter months, parents are looking for more indoor activities for the family and Aurora Children's Playhouse provides three amazing performances for families with young children. Beginning with an audience favorite, Lee Bryan -"That Puppet Guy" on January, 22 and his clever puppet show The Princess and the Pea, Y'all. Poking a little Southern-fried fun at the classic Hans Christian Andersen story with beautifully costumed hand puppets, The Princess and the Pea, Y'all is a delightful one-of-a-kind adaptation filled with sidesplitting slapstick comedy and witty word play.On January 30, Aurora Learning Library presents Gary Grinkle's Battles with Wrinkles and Other Troubles in Mudgeville by Stefan Graves Lanfer. Gary Grinkle cannot get rid of his wrinkles. Maggie Magoulish is terrified of stains on her amazing shoes. Arnold J. Arnold refuses to miss one minute of his favorite TV show. So Gary, Maggie and Arnold stay indoors all the time. But when Martin A. Maven moves to Mudgeville, he brings something magical to the sleepy town. From the world of Dr. Seuss, Stefan Graves Lanfer brings us a delightful story about conquering our fears and reaping all the wonderful rewards. This play with music will be seen by 6,000 local elementary school students and will have only one public performance. Seating is limited advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.Videos
