Actor's Express continues its 30th Anniversary season with Cardboard Piano by Hansol Jung, November 11 through December 3, 2017. The Louisville Courier-Journal says the play "excavates ideas about kindness, love and faith in the midst of Civil War."

Artistic Director Freddie Ashley says, "Playwright Hansol Jung is one of the great rising stars on the national and international scene. In Cardboard Piano, she has crafted a play that sensitively burrows into forgotten corners of the human heart where lie the capacity for forgiveness and reconciliation in the face of unspeakable pain. With the emotional intricacy of Tennessee Williams and the technical precision of Suzan-Lori Parks, Jung's work articulates an understanding of the human experience found only among the greatest playwrights."

Performances of Cardboard Piano are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. The Thursday, November 23 performance has been cancelled due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Tickets start at $28 and may be purchased online at actors-express.com or by calling 404-607-7469.
