 The Laurie Beechman Theatre is pleased to announce plans for SAY Something: A Spoken Word Salon. The event will feature spoken word performances from writers and actors, presenting their own work as well as excerpts from some of their favorite texts. SAY Something will take place on Friday, August 15 @ 6pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located at 407 West 42nd St., (@ 9th Ave), in the heart of New York's theatre district. There is a $10 cover, as well as a $15 food or beverage minimum (full bar and dinner menus are available). For reservations, which are advised, please call

SAY Something will feature a diverse spectrum of performers from the worlds of theatre, broadcasting and composing. The cast includes Hunter Bell (Broadway's Title of Show), Susan Blackwell (Broadway's Title of Show), Phil Geoffrey Bond (MAC, Bistro & Nightlife Award winner), Paul Cavalconte (WRXP radio), Donna Lynne Champlin (Broadway's Sweeney Todd, Hollywood Arms), Christine Lavin (award winning singer/songwriter), Carl Kissin (Chicago City Limits), Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Talk Radio) and Kate Shindle (Broadway's Legally Blonde).

Be sure to be there on the 15th as this amazing collection of artists gathers in celebration of new work as well as excerpts from some of their favorite texts. It promises to be a warm and witty evening.
