Yellow Sound Label has announced the release of a ground-breaking new album from recording artist and musical theatre star Jeremiah James. The CD will be available August 10. Entitled TUPELO, also the birthplace of Elvis Presley, the album contains 12 songs made famous by Presley re-interpreted and re-arranged by New York's finest jazz and pop musicians. Jeremiah James has been a Presley fan since he was a child and his mother would grease his hair back for him so he could look more like The King.

Yellow Sound Label and Jeremiah have turned that passion into a unique listening experience and are proud to breathe new life into these iconic songs and bring them to a new audience. This album is a reflection of his innate ability to front a band. It contains some classic Elvis songs as well as some lesser known favorites of Jeremiah's. With this record, TUPELO, produced by Michael Croiter and Bill Sherman, Jeremiah finally expresses his own unique voice.

Jeremiah James currently enjoys a great career in both musical theatre and the recording industry. He is currently a member of the all-male Sony singing group TEATRO, whose first album was certified gold less than one month after it was released, making THEATRO one of the fastest-selling singing groups of all time. As a member of TEATRO, Jeremiah built a following and reputation internationally, by performing across Europe and Africa. His biggest honor came  in 2008 when he had the unbelievable honor of performing for, and personally meeting, Her Majesty, The Queen of England.

Jeremiah has performed in many of the most prestigious theatres across the UK and the United States. He recently completed the starring role of Billy Bigelow in the West End revival of Carousel at the Savoy Theatre in London. Originally from a small town in upstate New York, James did much of his growing up in Los Angeles, where he first found his interest in music and theatre arts. He has been performing nationally and internationally for the past ten years and has over 60 professional theatre credits to his name. He was one of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theatre Ovation award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his role as Bobby Child in Crazy For You. His talents also extend to television, film and commercials.
