By: Jul. 20, 2010

Stage star Will Chase, who is currently appearing in Robin and the 7 Hoods and The Old Globe Theater, will return to the FX hit Rescue Me.  Last year, Chase appeared as a guest star in a Rescue Me episode that subsequently went on win an Emmy for the performance of Michael J Fox. Will Chase has appeared on Broadway in Billy Elliott, The Story of My Life, High Fidelity, Lennon, the Full Monty, Aida, Miss Saigon, and as Roger in the final cast and filmed stage version (Sony Pictures) of Rent. Regional credits include: Robin & The 7 Hoods (Old Globe), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Nominated for a Helen Hays Award - Signature Theatre), Oklahoma! (Oklahoma Lyric), The Pajama Game (MUNY), Assassins, Black Patent Leather Shoes and Mame. He has been nominated three times for Chicago's Jeff Award.

Film and Television credits include Four Single Fathers, Shaft, Everyday People, Cupid, Rescue Me, Canterbury's Law, Conviction, Law & Order, Third Watch, Queens Supreme, All My Children, Guiding Light, As The World Turns. Will trained at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music as a percussionist and studied conducting with Atlanta Symphony's Robert Spano. He has worked with such classical music luminaries as John Gage, John Adams, Gunther Schuller and Lorin Maazel. Will can be heard on the Original Broadway Cast Albums of High Fidelity and This Ordinary Thursday: The Songs of Georgia Stitt.

Chase can currently be seen onstage at The Old Globe in Robin and the 7 Hoods, which runs through August 22nd. This is the world premiere of a Broadway-bound musical comedy that takes the audience back to that sexy era in pop culture where "Mad Men" reigned supreme, martinis flowed freely and the songs of Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen ("My Kind of Town Chicago Is)," "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," "Call Me Irresponsible" and many more) ruled the night.

The show is written by Rupert Holmes, directed by Casey Nicholas, scored by Cahn and Van Heusen songs and tells the story of the Robin Hood legend with an early-sixties spin. When Robbo, a suave, fast-rising entrepreneur in Chicago's sophisticated nightclub scene, finds himself wanted by both sides of the law, he and his merry band quickly learn that a few wrongs - and a few songs - could make things right.
