DADDY, starring Alan Cumming, officially opens tonight!

The New Group and Vineyard Theatre present Jeremy O. Harris' "Daddy," with Alan Cumming, Tommy Dorfman, Fran Jaye, Kahyun Kim, Hari Nef, Ronald Peet and Charlayne Woodard, in a world premiere production directed by Danya Taymor.

A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through March 31 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).


BWW Exclusive: LITTLE KNOWN FACTS with Ilana Levine, Celebrating Women in the Arts

BroadwayWorld has teamed up with Broadway actress Ilana Levine, who makes her entrance onto the podcast stage with her critically acclaimed show Little Known Facts. Ilana's unique brand of celebrity interview, "Podcast Vérité," is unfiltered, raw, honest and uniquely funny. Social Butterfly: Get a First Look at Shoshana Bean in Costume as WAITRESS Announces Next Karaoke Night

As previously announced, Shoshana Bean will return to Broadway in the role of Jenna in Waitress! Bean begins performances on March 18 and will be in the show through May 12, 2019.

Waitress just announced its next Cast Album Karaoke night will be held on March 7, and hosted by Bean. Bean made the announcement on Instagram, which gave us a first look at her in the iconic blue Waitress uniform!


And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Elaine Paige, who turns 71 today!

Elaine Paige, actress, recording artist, concert performer, producer and broadcaster, Olivier Award winner and five-time nominee, created the role of Eva Peron in Evita and thereafter created the roles of Grizabella in Cats (the song "Memory" becoming her signature) and Florence in Chess. Further productions include Sunset Blvd (London/New York); Anything Goes; Piaf; The King & I and Sweeney Todd (Drama Desk nomination). Elaine has recorded 26 albums, received an OBE for services to Musical Theater and presents a weekly BBC Radio 2 program Elaine Paige On Sunday.
