WFUV Carries NPR's Arcade Fire Broadcast Tonight

By: Oct. 29, 2013

As part of its commitment to music discovery, the New York public radio station WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) will carry NPR Music's live broadcast of the Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire performing highlights from its new album, Reflektor, at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles tonight, October 29th at 10 p.m.

Co-produced by James Murphy of the now-defunct LCD Soundsystem, Reflektor will be released the next day. It is the follow up to The Suburbs, the 2010 Grammy Award winner for Album of the Year.

WFUV (90.7 FM, www.wfuv.org), New York's source for music discovery, is a noncommercial, member-supported public media service of Fordham University for more than 65 years. WFUV has received national recognition for its award-winning weekday format of adult album alternative music, award-winning local news and sports, and a diverse weekend lineup. WFUV's robust website has extensive audio archives, videos, song playlists, an events calendar, blog and other resources.
