New York Vocalist Steven Maglio, highly regarded for his renditions of songs popularized by Frank Sinatra, will be performing at the upcoming Friars Club gala event, Sinatra at 100, celebrating the late Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday.

On Monday evening, January 11, 2016, Steven Maglio kicks off the Friars Club Sinatra at 100 show, with a popular Sinatra signature song, the title of which is being kept a secret. The only hint Steven Maglio will give is that it's one of the songs in his regular Saturday night show at New York City's Carnegie Club.

Mr. Maglio will share the stage with an all-star cast including Emcee Larry King, Dominic Chianese, Norm Crosby, Tony Danza, Robert Davi, Shawn King, Deana Martin, Wayne Newton, Frank Pellegrino, Steve Tyrell, and Dionne Warwick, with music by Hank Lane.

"I'm so pleased to be part of this extraordinary Friars Club Sinatra at 100 musical celebration. It's such an honor to be performing the opening song!" says Steven Maglio. "I'm also looking forward to hearing all the great stories that will be shared about Frank Sinatra from those who knew him well. What a wonderful evening of remembrance it will be!"

The Friars Club Sinatra at 100 Gala is being held at the Pierre Hotel, 2 East 61st Street, New York, New York, 10065. Cocktails begin at 5:30pm, Dinner at 6:30pm and Show at 8pm. Tickets can only be purchased by, or with the approval of a Friars Club member.

Steven Maglio recently released his newest CD titled "Sinatra en Bossa Nova" on Saturday, December 12th, 2015, the same day that Frank Sinatra would have turned 100 years old.

The "Sinatra En Bossa Nova" CD includes twelve single Sinatra tracks, arranged in a swingin' bossa nova style: All The Way; I've Got The World On A String; Strangers In The Night; Lady Is A Tramp; Come Fly With Me; All My Tomorrows; My Way; The Way You Look Tonight; I've Got You Under My Skin; Summer Wind; Somethin' Stupid; and New York, New York.

In addition to recording his newest CD, Steven Maglio has been busy performing Sinatra's favorite tunes for over a decade.

His long-running nightclub act "Sounds of Sinatra" is a must-go for all Sinatra fans. Accompanied by the world-renowned 11-piece Stan Rubin Orchestra, Mr. Maglio sings two swingin' shows every Saturday evening, "Sinatra: Remembering The Sands" at 8:30PM, followed by "Sinatra Songs" at 10:30PM. Both shows are housed at the famed Carnegie Club, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, 156 West 56th Street, New York, NY.

Many noteworthy personalities have commented about Steven Maglio's distinctive vocal gift.

Actor Tony Danza recently remarked, "I like Steven's singing because he pays attention to those minor details that make a song popular, and the puts those details into his own renditions. That's one of the marks of a great singer."

Michael Dale of Broadwayworld.com noted, "What's most impressive about Steven Maglio is that even while tributing a singer he so obviously admires, he manages to make the evening his own. You may walk in because of Frank Sinatra, but you'll leave with an appreciation for a terrific entertainer named Steven Maglio."

Donald Trump praised Steven after he performed at Trump National Golf Club saying, "My wife and I were very impressed with his talent. I just booked him for two more shows."

Sidney Zion, New York Daily News columnist and friend of Frank Sinatra reported, "If Frank Sinatra could have seen the show you just did, you would be the one he'd choose to continue singing his songs."

Steven Maglio's CD's are available via CD Baby, Amazon, CD Universe, iTunes.
