Vineyard Theatre Hosts Charity Folks Auction

The Vineyard Theatre is offering rare, autographed theatre, film and television collectibles; theater tickets with backstage tours to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows; unique event packages; and more for its Holiday Auction on www.charityfolks.com. The auction lasts through December 10, and proceeds benefit the Vineyard Theatre.

Among the featured tickets to current and upcoming shows are Broadway's The Little Mermaid, Avenue Q, Les Miserables and Mary Poppins.  Also being auctioned are Honorary Artist tickets to Vineyard's high profile celebrity filled Gala, celebrating the 80th Birthday of Edward Albee and an Opening Night Membership to The Vineyard Theatre.

Press notes state: Theater fans can bid on memorabilia autographed by the cast of the hit CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother" with Neil Patrick Harris; a signed script from an episode of Kyra Sedgwick's The Closer and a copy of "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men" signed by film stars Julianne Nicholson and John Krasinski.  Also online will be unique experiences, such as lunch with acclaimed actress Kathleen Chalfant and a personal "Happy Birthday" sung to you by Betty Buckley!

The Vineyard Theatre won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, with Avenue Q, and has also produced two Pulitzer Prize-winners, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women and Paula Vogel's How I Learned to Drive; as well as Craig Lucas' The Dying Gaul, Becky Mode's Fully Committed, After Ashley by Gina Gionfriddo, Where Do We Live by Christopher Shinn, and Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell's Obie Award-winning musical [title of show].
