Video: 1000 Dancers Line Up at Radio City Music Hall to Audition for the Rockettes

Earlier this week, more than 1,000 dancers from 45 states and 34 countries signed up to audition for the Rockettes, which is celebrating its milestone 100th anniversary this year.

Dancers attending the audition are considered for a spot on the Rockettes line in the 2025 Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, or an invitation to participate in the company’s no-fee dancer development program this summer – which includes Rockettes Conservatory and the new Rockettes Preparatory. The dancer development program was designed as an investment in promising dancers’ futures. In addition to becoming an inclusive talent pipeline for future Rockettes, the program ensures the company continues to evolve by attracting the best dancers from all backgrounds.
