Accoridng to TVGuide.com, theater vets Kelly Osbourne, Joan Rivers, and Vanessa Williams will guest host on the ABC talk show "The View."
Rivers will guest-host on Tuesday, April 13. In 1994 she wrote and starred on Broadway in
Sally Marr AND HER ESCORTS, for which she received a Best Actress Tony nomination. Rivers is currently performing a series of shows at The
Laurie Beechman Theatre in Times Square. Rivers presents an evening of her newest and most outrageous riffs on Hollywood, pop culture, celebrities, and award show fashions at The
Laurie Beechman Theatre inside the
West Bank Cafe.
Osbourne's guest-host appearance will be on Wednesday, April 14. Osbourne made her theatrical stage debut when she starred as Mama Morton in the West End's production of CHICAGO. Osbourne has also starred on the ABC drama "Life as We Know It" and was also a contestant on the reality dancing competition "Dancing with the Stars."
Williams will guest-host on Tuesday, May 11. She can currently be found in the
Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, also featuring
Barbara Cook,
Tom Wopat,
Norm Lewis, and
Matthew Scott. Past stage credits of Williams' include INTO THE WOODS and KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. She is also a three-time Emmy Award nominee for her role on "Ugly Betty," which will have its series finale on Wednesday, April 14.
The view stars hosts
Barbara Walters, Whoopie Goldberg, Joy Behar,
Sherri Shepherd, and
Elisabeth Hasselbeck. It airs at 11:00am EST on ABC.
