The Vaganova method is a ballet technique and training system devised by the famous Russian dancer Agrippina Vaganova. The style combines elements of the traditional French style from the romantic era with the athleticism and virtuosity of the Italian technique. This training is designed to involve the whole body in every movement, with equal attention paid to the upper body, legs and feet.

VKIBC is a supported project of the Valentina Kozlova Dance Foundation, Inc. (VKDF). This is the Mission of VKDF: VKDF endeavors to preserve the legacy of classical ballet, to encourage its current progress and development, and to support the continued evolution of dance as an art form through training, education, performance opportunities, and the exchange of ideas within the extended international community.
