VIDEO: Tony Shalhoub to Star with Wife Brooke Adams in Beckett's HAPPY DAYS

Tony Shalhoub stopped by last night's Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about his role in the Broadway play, 'Act One.' He also revealed that he will soon be starring in a Samuel Beckett play titled 'Happy Days', with his wife, actress Brooke Adams.

""She is buried in a mound up to her waist in the first act and up to her neck in the second act," explained Shalhoub of his wife's role in the play. "I'm her husband and I'm just basically behind the mound lying down. Every once in a while I pop my head up and say a couple of words. So it's much different from the physicality of Act One."

The actor also spoke about lending his voice to the character of 'Splinter' in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

About Act One

Growing up in an impoverished immigrant family in the Bronx, Moss Hart dreamed of being part of the glamorous, magical world of show business- someday, somehow. From dropping out of school to becoming the toast of the town, his autobiography Act One recounts the making of a Broadway legend.

Now Lincoln Center Theater presents Act One, wonderfully adapted for the stage by Tony Award-winning writer and director James Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods). A cast of 22 plays over 40 parts in this funny, heartbreaking and suspenseful portrait of the artist as a young man.

The weekly radio program "Broadway to Mainstreet," hosted by our friend Laurence Maslon on NPR-affiliate station WPPB-FM, recently did an entire show dedicated to Moss Hart.
