True Tails From the Dog Park, a new book by Kari Sherman and Carey Laubenberg, shares tips and humorous "tails" for dog owners. The book, based on their experiences at the local dog park, is told through the eyes of their dogs, Max and Luther. The book was published by Max & Luther Publications and it was launched alongside a new website for dog owners at http://www.KariAndCarey.com.

"Our motto is that life isn't complete without a dog," said Kari Sherman, Partner in Max & Luther Publications and co-author of True Tails From the Dog Park. "Dogs bring laughter and love into the lives of their owners and they often bring people together. They also have much to teach us. We have learned so much from Max and Luther that we were driven to share their stories with other dog lovers. These are tales only a dog could tell."

The book offers practical advice such as not offering treats to other dogs at a dog park without checking with their owner. This should be done not only out of respect, but to protect dogs suffering from weight issues or allergies. It also features tips from the dogs' point of view such as "a dirty dog is likely to be a tired and happy dog."

True Tails From the Dog Park is the first of three planned books in the Max and Luther series, with the second and third books planned for release in 2015.
