Trailer Park Musical Hitches to 100th Performance, Nov. 15

On Tuesday, November 15th, The Great American Trailer Park Musical will reach its 100th performance. The show began performances on August 20 at the Dodger Stages.

Throughout the month of November, anyone who attends The Great American Trailer Park Musical will receive a free Moonpie. "The delicious Moonpie is a combination of cookie, chocolate coating, and marshmallow and is a true southern delicacy," state press notes.

A year's supply of Moonpies will also be given as one of the prizes for the winner of The Great American Trailer Park Pageant, hosted by Jerry Springer, on November 17th at Dodger Stages. The pageant is a "once-in-a-lifetime contest to crown New York City's very own Ruler of the Trailer Park. Each contestant will have one and a half minutes to be judged on their trailer park outfit and personality. The celebrity judges include Crystal Hunt (star of "Guiding Light"), Star and White Trash Helene (Star & Buc Wild Morning Show), Freddie Jackson (R&B singer), Michael Musto (The Village Voice), The Naked Cowboy, and Bruce Littlefield (author of Airstream Living). The winner will win many prizes, including being crowned at a performance of the show and becoming the shows official spokesperson. The cast album of the musical will also be available exclusively at Dodger Stages beginning in December, with a wide release following in January; it will be released on Sh-K-Boom Records.
