The Tony Award Administration Committee met today for the first time to decide the eligibility of two Broadway productions for the 2008 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards, presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing. 

Tony Roberts will be considered in the Featured Actor in a Musical category for his performance in Xanadu.

All other decisions were consistent with the opening night credits, for both Xanadu and Old Acquaintance

This is the first time the Tony Award Administration Committee has met this year.   It will meet three more time to discuss the eligibility of shows opening in the 2007-2008 season.   The cut-off date for eligibility is Wednesday, May 7 and nominations will be announced on Tuesday, May 13.

The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 15.
