The broadcast of the 60th Annual Tony Awards (2006) received the Outstanding Special Class Program 2007 Emmy Award at the Creative Arts Emmy Award Ceremony held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles yesterday, Saturday September 8.

Aired on CBS by White Cherry Entertainment in association with Tony Awards Productions, Emmy winners were Ricky Kirshner (Executive Producer) and Glenn Weiss (Executive Producer)

The 60th Annual Tony Awards broadcast was also nominated for Outstanding Musical Direction by Elliot Lawrence (Music Director), but did not win in that category.
