Theater of the Stars announced this afternoon that its 2013-14 season has been canceled in full.

The company's financial position has forced the organization to cancel Disney's The Little Mermaid and Cats, in what was to be their 61st season. After exhausting every avenue possible to present this season, the continued effects of a slow economy and the financial results of last years' season precludes the organization from having the resources to mount the current season's productions.

Additional information is expected soon, as the staff and Board of Directors work to determine TOTS' next steps.

The Fox Theatre will now be presenting STOMP September 25th-29th. Tickets for STOMP are on sale at www.FoxTheatre.org or by calling 855-285-8499. The Fox Theatre will honor all tickets that have already been purchased for STOMP including tickets purchased by Theater of the Stars subscribers.

TOTS also released the following information to subscribers:

- Customers who purchased single tickets for Disney's The Little Mermaid (September 7th -15th) and Cats (January 14th-19th) at the Fox Theatre ticket office or at a Fox Theatre Outlet should contact the Fox Theatre Ticket Office by phone at 404-881-2017 or by email at boxoffice@foxtheatre.org to obtain a full refund.

- You may "return" your subscription back to the company as a donation to the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, eligible for all applicable tax deductions and you will receive a letter stating as such.

- You may return your original tickets and request a refund to P.O. Box 11748 Atlanta, GA 30355.
