The Tank is proud to announce The Sunday Funnies, every Sunday at 9:30pm in 2010. Established comedy groups North Coast, Switzerland Neutral Comedy, The Pill, and City Hall will rotate every week to perform their own material as well as mentor developing comics who are interested in performing at the Tank. Never to impose drink or table minimums, Comedy at the Tank aims to provide the highest quality performance and dedication to the comic craft in New York City.

First Sunday of every month: North Coast (Music Improv)
North Coast is New York's only long-form improv team that incorporates freestyle rapping and beatboxing. North Coast will be joined at The Tank by 3 hysterical stand-up comics, a fellow NYC improv group, a fantastic sketch comedy group, and then hang out for the Rap Battle starring...YOU!! That's right, you will have the opportunity to step up, spit some bars, and put your pride on the line, so start practicing! North Coast holds it down like a hippo on a see-saw! It's always fun and oh-so fresh!

Second Sunday of every month: Switzerland Neutral Comedy (Stand up)
Switzerland Neutral Comedy (SNC) brings you some of NYC's funniest rising comics! The mix of stand-up comedians, hilarious musicians and comedic characters will put your aggravating work week behind you. Laugh, drink, and consider your stress Neutralized!

Third Sunday of every month: The Pill (Improv)
You've heard of the the Pill, then there's THE PILL. THE PILL is anything you want it to be. THE PILL is a long form improvised comedy organization that instantly cures what ails you. When watched, THE PILL binds to your mRNA ligands, rewrites your junk DNA and turns it into a protein know as Laughapolypeptide, which in clinical trials has demonstrated significant efficacy in patients with mild depression and general lethargy. Do not see THE PILL if you are a jerk, have no sense of humor, or if you experience seizures. Side effects include: side stitch, overactive crying, uncontrollable fits and seizures. The Pill does not stop pregnancy. In fact, 9 out of 10 women who saw THE PILL became pregnant five minutes into the show, usually during a seizure. The Pill is Joey Burns, Matt Cohen, Dave Elmy, Lauren Hobbs, Doug Smith and Nick Palladi.

Fourth Sunday of every month: CITY HALL (Sketch)
CITY HALL is an award winning (Jackpot 2009) and MAC Award nominated ("Best Comedy Group" 2008), New York based, sketch comedy group. CITY HALL blends the dark absurdity of Monty Python, the surreal characterization of Mr. Show, the music of Flight of the Concords, with the puppetry and sweetness of MR. Rogers to answers life's most profound questions in a children's show format. CITY HALL has travelled around the country performing at the LA Comedy Festival, Improv Boston, and The Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival, to name a few, and now brings it's show to The Tank. Andrew Singer of The Apiary and CityScoopsNYC.com says; "This group of handsome and classy men always scores big laughs with a mellifluous blend of singing, dancing, puppetry and genuine camaraderie" and "Repeat viewings are encouraged as no two shows are quite the same!" Your CITY HALL members are Christopher Booth, Julia Darden, Patrick Frankfort, Luis Nunez, Zak Slemmer, and Josh Wolinsky. Hop aboard the imagination train - next stop CITY HALL.
