The Studio Theatre Presents HEAR MY SONGS: The Music of Jason Robert Brown
The Studio Theatre™ Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) will present Hear My Songs: The Music of Jason Robert Brown from May 25th through May 30th, 2018.
Hear My Songs is a thrilling concert celebrating the works of three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown. Brown is best known for his dazzling scores to several of the most renowned musicals of his generation, including The Last Five Years, his debut song cycle Songs for a New World, and Parade, for which he won the 1999 Tony Award for Best Score. Directed by Yvette Kojic, Hear My Songs features a stellar cast of rising Broadway talent and outstanding musicians performing songs from The Bridges of Madison County, Honeymoon in Vegas, The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade, and more.
Jason Robert Brown has been hailed as "one of Broadway's smartest and most sophisticated songwriters since Stephen Sondheim" (Philadelphia Inquirer) and his "extraordinary, jubilant theater music" (Chicago Tribune) has been heard all over the world.
Hear My Songs is directed by Yvette Kojic with musical direction by Randy Redd (Million Dollar Quartet, Ring of Fire, Parade). It will feature musical theatre performers Cole Burden (The Bridges of Madison County, Les Miserables - 25th Anniversary), Cameron Anika Hill (Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia), Vince Oddo (Rocky, Amazing Grace, American Idiot), and Kalli Siringas (Les Miserables, Stronger Together, Broadway at Birdland).
