Utilizing the actress' own words, THE PASSION OF THE CRAWFORD is a fantasia on the persona of an alternately complex and simple 20th Century cultural icon, the renowned Hollywood glamour goddess Joan Crawford. John Epperson as Lypsinka gives audiences an evening with the legendary Miss Crawford, offering a live interview – one of her last public appearances - in which she shares with her fans the exciting details of her fabulous career, her life and her loves. Lypsinka also recreates two of Miss Crawford's dramatic interpretations of her favorite works of literature – "Desiderata" (the classic poetic declaration of what is essential to one's life and how to live peacefully) and a text about the importance of caring for children, written especially for her. The evening also includes a performance by The Amazing Russello.
