The McKittrick Hotel's Winter Rooftop Hideaway to Return for the Holidays The McKittrick Hotel (530 West 27th Street, NYC), home of Sleep No More, announces the return of The Lodge at Gallow Green, a winter hideaway located on the hotel's perennial rooftop. The Lodge is set to open for the season on Friday, December 1.

Each year, The McKittrick's hidden rooftop bar Gallow Green undergoes a dramatic transformation from a whimsical, overgrown secret garden into a cozy lodge for the colder months. Guests of The Lodge at Gallow Green discover a mountainside ski cabin nestled atop the hotel in a secluded forest of real pines.

Once inside, visitors relax and enjoy a selection of potent cocktails and large format punches, as well as seasonal small plates and specialty pizzas from a wood burning oven, created by the hotel's Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac'h.

- Hot spiced cocktails are available in single servings or presented in samovars for groups. New drinks include the house signature Sleep No More, a take on the Wassail made with apple cider, Jack Daniels Rye, Oloroso Sherry and orange zest mulled in cinnamon, nutmeg and clove; and the Smoking Bishop, a Dickensian-era holiday punch made with Ruby Port, red wine, CioCiaro Amaro, honey liqueur, ginger and allspice.

- Craft cocktail offerings include Flight of The Illusionist - an homage to our magical dining experience in The Heath - made with Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Scotch and honey lemon syrup with a mist of peated Nàdurra, garnished candied ginger; Birnam Lowball, Santa Teresa 1796 Rum with Chai Tea Syrup and Teapot Bitters; and Clouds in My Coffee, with Bruxo No.2 Mezcal, St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur, Cocchi Torino and chocolate bitters, served with chocolate Biscotti - perfect with dessert.

- Mouth-watering pizzas include Classic Cheese, Margherita, Mushroom and Tarte Flambée, made with with bacon, onion, nutmeg and gooey Gruyère cheese.

- Lighter salads and elevated small plates include Marinated Olives, Cheeses, and Mezze, all served with house-made breadsticks.

Inspired by Scottish bothies, the cabin's charming, lived-in vibe comes complete with cozy fireside seating, warm plaid blankets, hiking boots, sleeping bunks and a library. Private seating areas, a bar, mysterious train tracks and an outdoor fire pit are also available for guests to explore.

The Lodge at Gallow Green will be open for dinner and drinks seven days a week from 5pm.
