The Dramateurs at the Barn have announced a casting call for the upcoming show, 'The Producers'. Auditions will be held on February 8, 2010.

The Producers

Mousy accountant Leo Bloom dreams of a more exciting life. To live out his fantasy, he joins forces with down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock. Together they hatch a scheme to find and produce the worst musical ever written and escape to the south seas with the left-over money from their investors. Their plan backfires, however, when the show is a runaway success. Based on Mel Brooks' 1968 cult-film classic of the same name The Producers earned twelve Tony Awards, more than any other musical in Broadway history, and proved that friendship can come from the most unlikely of places.

Book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan
Music and Lyrics by Mel Brooks
Original direction and choreography by Susan Stroman
By special arrangement with StudioCanal
