The Americano Presents JC Hopkins & The Biggish Quartet During Sunday Brunch

The Americano 518 West 27 Street 212-525-0000 (www.hotel-americano.com) West Chelsea's newest watering hole is swingin' from 11am – 4pm as the Multi Grammy Award Nominee JC Hopkins & The Biggish Quartet set up shop during Sunday brunch. 

JC Hopkins, pianist, songwriter and vocalist, formed the JC Hopkins Biggish Band in 2000. Since then the band has backed great singers from Norah Jones to Madeleine Peyroux, and they can be seen for just the price of Huevos a la Mexicana Two scrambled eggs, onions, tomatoes, peppers, frijoles refritos, salsa verde, tortillas at modern French, with a Latin twist, restaurant The Americano.
 
Grab your sweetie and your best tweed cap and head down to this stylish eatery owned by Grupo Habita, widely known for pioneering the boutique hotel concept in Mexico. In a building designed by Mexican architect Enrique Norten with interiors by the Parisian designer Arnaud Montigny, the restaurant's dining room is as striking as the food. The design of the space perfectly embodies the aesthetics of the neighborhood's art galleries. Black banquets give The Americano restaurant an air of sophistication, while high ceilings, large light fixtures and floor-to-ceiling windows accentuate the sun-drenched room.
