Tarzan, The Broadway Musical, will celebrate 150 performances on Broadway on Sunday, September 17th.

Tarzan opened May 10, 2006 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).  The show is presented by Disney Theatrical Productions (Thomas Schumacher, Producer).

The original cast recording of Tarzan (Walt Disney Records) debuted at #3 on the Billboard Cast Album Chart and is available now at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, in music stores nationwide and at online retailers including Amazon, iTunes and Disney Shopping.

Most recently, the musical broke the box office record at the Richard Rodgers Theatre for three consecutive weeks.

The production stars Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton.  Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

Performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 PM. Sunday performances are at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM.  Tickets are on sale now through www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 212-307-4747, or by visiting www.TarzanOnBroadway.com.
