Edward R. Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City (UCP of NYC), announced today that UCP of NYC will kick off the Holidays with the 7th Annual Santa Project Party & Auction on Tuesday, December 6th at the social club, Down Town Association.

The 7th Annual Santa Project Party & Auction benefits the Children's Program and Preschools of UCP of NYC and will be co-hosted by Tamsen Fadal, eight-time Emmy winning Anchor of PIX 11 News, Host, Broadway Profiles & best-selling author, and Mike Woods, Meteorologist, Fox 5's Good Day New York. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Mike Woods has hosted the fundraiser and the third consecutive year that Tamsen Fadal has co- hosted the Santa Project Party.

The event features a silent auction with a range of luxury goods and services for attendees to bid on. In addition to a strong showing of support from a diverse young professional crowd, the event draws celebrity guests from fashion, film, television and Broadway.

Co-Chairs of the Santa Project Party & Auction this year are: Camilla Barungi, principal, GreyFire Holding, Founder, African Moringa and model of "Project Runway" fame; Javier Gomez, noted photographer, entrepreneur and designer; Teresa Priolo, three-time Emmy nominated reporter, Fox 5 News & Good Day New York; and Steve Lacy, anchor of the Fox 5 News.

In the past year, UCP of NYC's Children's Program has expanded to include 12 preschools, educating over 1,500 children with disabilities. The event directly impacts every child in our schools because all proceeds go toward the purchase of gift cards for each of their families, many of whom have limited resources. The Santa Project Party & Auction also helps fund special needs equipment and technologies in classrooms.

"UCP of NYC is extremely grateful this holiday season for our hosts, corporate sponsors, donors and friends." says Edward R. Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, "Their support and concern for our neediest children and families truly exemplifies the spirit and generosity of New Yorkers."

"I am delighted to co-host the Santa Project Party & Auction with Mike Woods," says Tamsen Fadal. "UCP of NYC reaches thousands of families and individuals with disabilities throughout New York City. I am continually impressed by the scope and magnitude of their programs and ability to positively impact people's lives."

"I am thrilled to co-host the 7th Annual UCP of NYC Santa Project Party with its longtime supporter Tamsen Fadal," says Mike Woods. I am a big supporter of UCP of NYC and their vital ongoing work to provide programs and services for children, families, and adults living with disabilities."

The Santa Project Party & Auction kicks off the holiday season on Tuesday, December 6th 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Down Town Association; 60 Pine St, New York, NY 10005. Individual tickets are $100 dollars.
