TRIPLE ESPRESSO to Return to Minneapolis' Luminary Arts Center After 30th Anniversary Tour

Triple Espresso: A Highly Caffeinated Comedy will return to the Twin Cities this holiday season for a three-week limited engagement at the Luminary Arts Center, located in North Loop near Target Field. Performances will run December 22, 2026, through January 10, 2027, with tickets starting at $32.

The Minneapolis return follows the show's 30th Anniversary national tour, which included a multi-week engagement in Des Moines, IA, as well as stops in The Villages, FL; Fort Myers, FL; Enterprise, AL; and Oskaloosa, IA. Before returning to Minneapolis, Triple Espresso will also play Theatre L'Homme Dieu in Alexandria, MN, from June 8-13, 2026. Additional tour dates following the Minneapolis engagement will be announced at a later date.

Created by Bill Arnold, Michael Pearce Donley, and Bob Stromberg, Triple Espresso first opened in 1996 at The Music Box Theatre in Minneapolis under the direction of William Partlan. The production ran continuously there until 2008, becoming the longest-running show in Minneapolis history. Since its debut, the caffeinated comedy has entertained more than 2 million people in over 60 cities, across six countries, and in three languages. In addition to its record-breaking Minneapolis run, Triple Espresso has played extended engagements in San Diego, Des Moines, and Dublin, Ireland, and has been seen in London, Chicago, Seattle, Milwaukee, Ghent, Munich, Berlin, Denver, Cleveland, St. Louis, Tulsa, Phoenix, Atlanta, and many other cities.

About the Show

Triple Espresso tells the uproarious story of three hapless showbiz partners - Hugh Butternut, Buzz Maxwell, and Bobby Bean - whose big break ends in a spectacular four-minute disaster on national TV. Years later, the trio reunites to tell their side of the story in a whirlwind of comedy, magic, music, and heart.
