Tony Award-winning Broadway star Sutton Foster will bring her concert, "An Evening with Sutton Foster" on tour this year, playing shows in New York, Massachusetts, Los Angeles, and more.

"An Evening with Sutton Foster," is an intimate concert feauturing many of the hit songs Sutton created in her memorable Broadway career as well as her favorite tunes from the classic, pop and Broadway songbooks and selections from her new CD "Wish." Michael Rafter is the Music Director.

Foster received a Tony nomination for her role in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. Perhaps best known for her performance as Millie Dillmount in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE," for which she received 2002 Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Awards, Sutton recently starred on Broadway as Princess Fiona in SHREK: THE MUSICAL and was honored with Tony and Drama Desk nominations, and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Prior to that, Sutton played Inga in the Mel Brooks musical, "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and Jo March in "LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL (2005 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations).

Last year, in a glowing review of Sutton Foster in concert, Stephen Holden of The New York Times said, "A barefoot country girl cradling a puppy and gazing blissfully into the blue sky, a sleeping princess in a moonlit bower who dreams of being kissed awake by Prince Charming: the corniest storybook mythology attaches itself to Sutton Foster as magically as dew appears on a spring flower and revives for a moment your silliest childhood fantasies of eternal innocence and happily ever after."

The tour schedule thus far is as follows:
New York, NY (June 15-26 at the Café Carlyle)
Stockbridge, MA (Aug. 22 at the Berkshire Theatre Festival)
Morristown, TN (Oct. 15 at the Encore Theatrical Company)
Springfield, OH (Nov. 13 at the Clark State PAC)
Washington, D.C. (Jan. 14, 2011 at the Kennedy Center)

According to a representative for Foster, additional tour dates for Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County and other cities will be announced shortly.
