The final SusanSez Arthur Ave Walkabout for 2009 will venture into the "real" Little Italy in the Bronx on Thursday December 31 at 10:30 AM.
Return to the 40's, 50's and 60's as we explore the Belmont section of the Bronx: New York's "real" Little Italy.
We'll stroll the busy streets among the numerous mom & pop specialty food and gift shops and restaurants. Along the way, we'll sample the tastes that make this a destination for those in search of the best Italian specialties the city has to offer: bureks,crusty bread, olives, cheese, sausage, pastry and, of course, pizza.
