Summer In The Square Shows A Taste of Broadway 7/10

TheaterMania.com, along with the Union Square Partnership, are proud to present Summer in The Square 2008, a free weekly event offering superb entertainment every Thursday afternoon beginning July 3rd through August 14th on Union Square Park's South Plaza.  Each week, onstage in the south plaza of Union Square, there will be family programming at 12:30p.m., yoga at 3:00p.m. and music at 5:30p.m.

Thursday, July 10th is gearing up to be an evening of top-quality entertainment as Broadway at Birdland personality, Jim Caruso, plays host as TheaterMania.com presents An Off-Broadway Review, which will showcase some of Off-Broadway's most elite talent. Acts already confirmed to take part include cast of the hit comedy musical, Altar Boyz, as well as cast from the award winning Off-Broadway revival of The Fantasticks, performers from the HipHop Theater Festival, and Noche Flamenca. Also scheduled for a special appearance are Blue Man Group, known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment.
