Beginning August 14th, Lucy Thurber's Killers and Other Family comes back to New York for four nights in a reimagined production at the Physics Theater in Time Square.

This jarring and enigmatic 90-minute drama is produced by four promising young actors fresh out of the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and though the words are the same, these actors bring a new and unexpected depth to this edgy play. Unwilling to wait for a revival of Killers to be produced, they decided to use their own resources and energy to bring this story to life. With tenacity and determination, this group created their own Production Company in order to bring forth this professional quality show.

The show begins at 7:30 on August 14, 15, 17, and 18 at The Physics Theater, 300 W 43rd Street, 5th Floor, New York NY 10036. Tickets can be reserved at www.eventbrite.com/e/killers-and-other-family-tickets-36404218999.

"Trying to escape her painful past, Elizabeth (Bishon Prushankin) has dedicated herself to finishing her dissertation and building a life with her partner, Claire (Denise Wolken). Their routine is disrupted by a visit from Elizabeth's brother Jeff (Jake Laurence) and her troubled childhood lover Danny (Austin Edward Sickel), as they threaten to ruin all she's built and pull her back into a cycle of destruction."
