Street Lights For Obama, a concert of Joe Drymala's new hip hop musical, Street Lights benefiting Obama For America on August 17th.

Street Lights is different than any other musical out there right now...it mixes modern hip hop/pop production techniques with samples from recordings made during the civil rights movement. The songs are about struggle, hope, ambition, anger, injustice, love, and the promise of a new generation. They are heavily influenced by soul, R&B, blues, and especially hip hop.

The Story is about inner-city high school kids trying to make sense of the rough world they've grown up in. Some of them want to get out. Some of them want to be heroes on the block. Some of them want to chase fame. And some of them refuse to accept the world as it is, and they're tired of being told that nothing will ever change. They want to change it.

STREET LIGHTS is about a new generation discovering how powerful they are when they stand together.
