Starz's MAGIC CITY to Take Over Times Square Tomorrow

Starz brings Miami Beach to Tar Beach with a day-long consumer event featuring "summer fun" vintage beach wear fashion shows (50s & 60s period designs, bikinis and one pieces), styled by Emmy Award winning costume designer, Carol Ramsey showcasing and inspired by the period series that premieres Friday, June 14th. Fans will have a chance to view a classic 1959 convertible, take part in beach blanket bingo and other fun in the sun activities and be served by some of the most handsome cabana boys ever to take Manhattan!

Those set to appear include Golden Globe nominated Danny Huston, Kelly Lynch, Michael Rispoli, John Cenatiempo, Yul Vazquez and series creator, Mitch Glazer; plus Emmy-Award costume designer, Carol Ramsey plus a bevy of beauties outfitted in circa 1950s swimwear.

The event will take place at Duffy Square in Times Square, (between 45th and 47th Streets, Broadway and Seventh Avenue), tomorro, Wednesday, June 12.

Ike Evans risks everything in a life and death battle to rid his Miramar Playa Hotel of the mob and Ben "The Butcher" Diamond. Ike's dangerous plan to defeat Ben takes Ike from Havana's glamorous casinos to dealings with a new devil - Ben's boss in the Chicago Outfit. Ike's wife Vera gets a second chance at her former dancing glory, while sons Stevie and Danny drift farther from Ike -- Stevie toward the power and rewards of Ben's dark world, Danny into the moral righteousness of State's Attorney Jack Klein. Changes in Castro's Cuba ripple to the shores of Miami Beach, and a new world order begins to tear the Evans family apart. Even if Ike's long-shot gamble to take back his hotel succeeds, will the price of victory be too high?

"Magic City" stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Olga Kurylenko, Danny Huston, Kelly Lynch, Steven Strait, Christian Cooke, Jessica Marais, Yul Vazquez, Dominik Garcia-Lorido and Elena Satine. Joining the cast this season is Academy Award Nominee James Caan, Esai Morales, Sherilyn Fenn, Rick Ross and Jamie Harris.
