StarStruck Christens Their New Theatre With NUNSENSE 1/19

StarStruck Performing Arts Center in Stuart will raise the curtain on its 2012 professional season - the first in its brand new 202-seat theatre - on January 19 with Nunsense!
About the show: New York theatre veteran Josh Rhett Noble makes his directorial debut with the musical comedy that tells the story of the Little Sisters of Hoboken. Several nuns have died in a tragic case of soup gone wrong. Now, the surviving sisters have to raise enough money to bury the dead. Hilarity ensues as the Little Sisters sing and dance their way to big bucks.
"I am beyond thrilled to have the chance to direct the unbelievable talent located right here in Stuart," Noble said. "The show is hilarious fun for all ages. I mean, you can't go wrong with tap-dancing nuns!"
Noble has appeared on stage in more than 50 professional productions around the country, and he is no stranger to the Treasure Coast.
"I first met [StarStruck owners] Jennifer and Peter Jones when they brought me down from NYC to perform the role of 'Gaston' in their production of Disney's BEAUTY & THE BEAST. I fell in love with them, StarStruck, and Stuart!"
With over 5,000 productions worldwide, NUNSENSE stars StarStruck favorites Jean Ferreira (seen in StarStruck's GYPSY, GREASE), Patty Carreau (seen in StarStruck's GYPSY), Elizabeth Casalini (seen in StarStruck's COMPANY, ANNIE), Katrina Colletti (seen in StarStruck's WEST SIDE STORY, AIDA) and Katie Hoeg (seen in StarStruck's SOUND OF MUSIC, and upcoming ANNIE). Directed by Noble (BEAUTY & THE BEAST, SOUND OF MUSIC), co-choreographed by Noble and Casalini, with musical direction by the incomparable Peter Jones.
