Staged Reading of LATE NIGHT ODYSSEY to Be Presented in The Broadway Bound Theatre Festival

A staged reading of Late Night Odyssey, a new play by Grant Bowen, will be performed at The Theater at the 14th Street Y for one evening on August 14th at 5:00pm. The reading is being featured as part of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival's 2018 Incubator Reading series.

Homer, a struggling novelist, is still not over Penelope. While on a night out in the Lower East Side, he decides to lead his friends on a journey to his favorite Astoria bar, in hopes of finally figuring things out. Inspired by The Odyssey, his is a journey of strange characters, endless distractions, subway delays, and uncomfortable revelations.

This reading of Late Night Odyssey is directed by Katharine Pettit, with stage management & lighting by Tara Reuter and sound by Meghan Ginley. The cast features (in alphabetical order) Allison Altman, Grant Bowen, Erick Carter, Kyle Hines, Mallory Kinney, Aaron Moore, & Sarah Okada, with narration by Natasha Soto-Albors.
