Vacations are the perfect time to try out something new like an apparel trend, fresh nail polish shade or even a different hair style according to Stacy London, Brand Ambassadress for Hollywood Fashion Secrets (HFS), the brand that brought the world Fashion Tape and an array of Style Essentials perfect for everyday and travel.

"Spring is bringing great new trends that we can all wear with greater confidence and certitude with the help of the under-cover wardrobe magic from HFS," said London, host of new fashion reality TV show, Love, Lust or Run. "Whether that's keeping a skin-baring top firmly intact with Fashion Tape, de-perkifying in lighter weight fabrics with CoverUps (nipple concealers) or hiding peek-a-boo bra straps with a Bra Converting Clip, these products are must-haves for every day and any vacation."

Here are some top trends and tips London says to consider as women make new spring purchases and pack for a resort vacation.

Florals. On vacation to warm climates and during the spring/summer season, you can never go wrong with florals. Pick the style, color and size of print that flatters you best. Remember big prints on small frames can look overwhelming. Invest in these pieces as they will be useful far beyond a single season.

White Out! White, like florals, never goes out of warm-weather style. Many looks this season are lace or whisper thin and require some sort of undergarment. Always go with an undergarment that matches your skin tone, not white itself, or it will be noticeable underneath sheerer fabrics. Silicon CoverUps (nipple concealers) are perfect to de-perkify under lightweight, sheer white fabrics.

Suede. Yep, you read correctly! Suede isn't just for winter anymore and a lightweight version of the material makes for a great warm-weather transitional fabric. Look for dresses and jackets in particular and in all sorts of shades, but naturals and pastels are the true standouts this season.

Kimonos Are The New Jacket. Everything about this season feels a bit more relaxed and roomy. For casual wear, instead of a blazer, bomber or cardigan, try a short kimono over a halter and shorts. With platform wedges, you'll fit in at any festival or picnic on the beach or in the park.

Back is the New Front. There are lots of skin-baring silhouettes this season. From tops to dresses to jumpsuits, low cut backs are all the rage. You don't have to go body-con for this look to be sexy. Try a slightly lower back than you might normally wear, even in a roomy maxi dress and the effect is equally as sensual.

Denim Revival -That '70s vibe is back again. The flare, high-waisted jean is one of the most popular silhouettes this season, but look for great shirt dresses and jumpsuits in denim as well. Accessorize with embellished sandals, printed scarves, belts or bags, and a floppy brimmed hat if you're really going for the '70s starlet look. The Hip Hugger back-belt is a brilliant item to close the back-of-jeans Gap so many of us endure.

Travel Clothing - Never-ever wear exercise gear on a flight. You can't do yoga in the aisle...you'll get in the way of the beverage cart! Stick to comfortable, microfiber jerseys, in cotton or poly cotton blends and always carry a large Pashmina or soft roomy cardigan to wrap yourself up in, should the flight (not your destination, but just the flight) be cold! That air conditioning can be brutal on the way to Paradise.

The Stylette - pop this genius travel item in your handbag or cosmetic kit before you head out on a trip. This travel-ready kit features 10 Style Essential items including Fashion Tape, a much-needed essential for securing everything from a deep-plunging neckline or a side-boob silhouette to anchoring a belt. This handy kit also includes Garment Shields that keep sweat stains off apparel so you can wear the same top again on your trip without the hassle of laundering, and the Deodorant Removing Sponge, which removes pesky deodorant marks often evident after pulling on the clingy black cut-out dress. The Stylette also has No-Show one-use nipple concealers perfect for going braless in a strapless top or dress and Eye Makeup Corrector Swabs, genius cotton swabs containing an aloe vera formula great for on-the-fly touch-ups to eliminate the melty-makeup look and raccoon eyes often encountered in warm weather conditions.

"The Stylette is my fave in the current HFS collection. It's the mini-version of a safety blanket - with it on your trip, you always know you're covered," said London.

HFS products are available at ULTA Beauty; Old Navy; Bed, Bath and Beyond; Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts; and Duane Reade, among other retailers.
