Spamalot will be featured in a clue on the Tuesday, July 3 edition of "Jeopardy!"

The clue was recently taped on the set of Broadway's Spamalot as part of Jeopardy!'s "Clue Crew."  Jeopardy! airs in the New York area on WABC-TV Channel 7 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  Check local listings for times outside of the NY tri-state area.

Spamalot won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical, and the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Musical.  The show features a book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, direction by Mike Nichols, choreography by Casey Nicholaw and is based on the screenplay of Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, with an entirely new score with two songs from the 1975 film and the Python classic "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" from 1979's The Life of Brian.

In addition to Broadway, a national touring production continues to do record business across North America, a London production opened last fall to rave reviews at London's Palace Theatre, a Las Vegas production opened at Wynn Las Vegas in the spring of 2007, and a Melbourne, Australia production was recently announced to open at Her Majesty's Theatre in December 2007.

"Jeopardy!" a winner of 27 Emmy awards since its debut in 1984, was recently inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most awards won by a TV Game Show. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication, and has held that title for over 1,000 weeks.  The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company. It is distributed domestically and internationally by CBS Television Distribution, a unit of CBS Corp.
