'South Pacific' to Perform on The View and Letterman

Kelli O'Hara is set to perform from Lincoln Center Theater's award-winning production of "Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC," during the "Late Show with David Letterman" telecast on Tuesday, June 3, on CBS-TV.  Ms. O'Hara, who stars as Ensign Nellie Forbush, the role created by Mary Martin, will sing "I'm Gonna Wash the Man Right Out of My Hair" joined by Becca Ayers, Margot De La Barre, Laura Marie Duncan, Laura Griffith, Lisa Howard and Garrett Long.  "The Late Show with David Letterman" airs in New York on WCBS-TV IChannel 2) at 11:30 PM.

On Monday, June 9 Miss O'Hara will be joined on ABC-TV's "The View" by her co-star Paulo Szot to sing a duet of "Some Enchanted Evening."  "The View" airs in the New York metropolitan area on WABC-TV (Channel 7) at 11 AM.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC opened to critical acclaim at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on Thursday, April 3 and was recently nominated for 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and won 4 Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical Revival and 4 Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Musical Revival.  The original cast recording of the Lincoln Center Theater production has just been released by Sony Masterworks.
