Grammy nominated artist Sophie B. Hawkins has recently moved back to NYC with her son (she grew up in Manhattan) from LA and has a lot exciting projects. She has two shows coming up at the Iridium tonight, April 25, 2014.

She will also be performing as a special guest at Gloria Steinem's upcoming May 1st birthday party in NYC, she has working on a new blues album, working on a children's book, helping her son's class write a musical, and more.

She recently appeared on an episode of Community that was hysterical and well received and performed last year.

Hawkins also starred as Janis Joplin in the critically acclaimed play Room 105, about Janis's life.
