A fascinating conversation with Sir Alan Ayckbourn on the eve of the opening of his new play, My Wonderful Day at 59 East 59th, which Ayckbourn both wrote and directed. This is 73rd of Ayckbourn's plays which also include Absurd Person Singular, A Small Family Business, and The Norman Conquests (which was revived last season and won three Drama Desk Awards).

This Week, not on Thirteen...
Bravo, FELA! plus that Wonderful Finian's Trick

This week, THIRTEEN is in the middle of their annual winter Pledge Drive, so Theater Talk will not be telecast. We'll be back there on December 11th.

Meanwhile, for your viewing and listening pleasure, celebrate the smash hit status of the new musical FELA! by watching our interview with its star Sahr Ngaujah, director Bill T. Jones, and producer Stephen Hendel.
