Simon Willmont, Lucyelle Cliffe, Jenny Gayner, and Garry Freer Will Lead A CHRISTMAS STORY at Waterloo East Theatre

Casting announcement for Pasek and Paul's A Christmas Story, The Musical European Premier at Waterloo East Theatre.

Casting has been confirmed for the adult leads:
Playing the parts of Mr & Mrs Parker will be Simon Willmont (Mamma Mia, Blood Brothers, The Hired Man) and Lucyelle Cliffe (Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, Wicked). And playing the part of Miss Shields is Jenny Gayner (The Girls, Chicago, Spamalot) and the narrator Jean Shepherd - Garry Freer (Me and My Girl, Little Shop of Horrors, Ballroom).

A Christmas Story, The Musical with book by Joseph Robinette and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, is based on the movie classic that runs round-the-clock on US television every Christmas. Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, we follow young and bespectacled Ralphie Parker as he schemes his way toward the Christmas gift of his dreams, an official Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle. Rebuffed at every turn, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun.
