Shepard, Martin, Etc. Set for PEN World Voices Fest

The Third Annual PEN World Voices Fest will feature the participation of Sam Shepard, Steve Martin and Don DeLillo, among others.

Focusing on international literature, the PEN Fest will be held in New York from April 24th through 29th, according to the organization's website.  This year's theme is "Home and Away."

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and actor Shepard (Fool for Love, Buried Child) will appear alongside rock legend Patti Smith at the PEN Cabaret, taking place at the Bowery Ballroom on April 28th.  Playwright, novelist and actor Martin (Picasso at the Lapin Agile, WASP, Shopgirl) and novelist-playwright DeLillo (the play Valparaiso, White Noise) will join Nadine Gordimer, Salman Rushdie and more on April 25th at Town Hall for "Town Hall Readings: Writing Home."
