Second Volume of Musical Theater Today to Feature Rachel Bloom, David Henry Hwang, and More

After the success of its inaugural issue last summer, the second volume of Musical Theater Today is set for release on July 16, 2018. There's only one week left to preorder at 20% off!

The first of its kind, Musical Theater Today is an annual print publication consisting of interviews, work excerpts, and essays from some of the most prominent and influential musical theater artists of our time. From writers and composers to performers, directors, and even students, Musical Theater Today compiles diverse and varied perspectives of the industry on all scales.

The second volume features contributions from over 50 artists such as Michael John LaChiusa (Giant, The Wild Party), Max Vernon (KPOP, The View Upstairs), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Christine Toy Johnson & Bobby Cronin (Till Soon, Anne), Stephanie Hsu (SpongBob SquarePants), Michael Kushner (The Dressing Room Project), David Henry Hwang (M. The launch party for Musical Theater Today: Volume 2 will take place Monday, July 16th at The Brazen Tavern from 6pm - 10pm, and is open to the public. Books may be purchased in person as well, without advance order, for list price of $25.
