Two very different theatrical events will be presented by kef productions in the first week of June.  School's Out, a series of original works written and performed by New York-area students, will be performed from May 30th to June 5th at the Lion Theatre at Theatre Row Studios, while Terence McNally's Corpus Christi will be at the same theatre on Friday, June 3rd at 8 PM.

School's Out, a theatre/community outreach program, will play according to the following schedule: The Imagine Project will be performed on Monday, May 30th at 7:00 PM, The Hetrick-Martin Institute (Home of The Harvey Milk High School) will perform their pieces on Tuesday, May 31st and Wednesday, June 1st at 8:00 PM while The McCarter Project will be presented on Saturday, June 4th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, June 5th at 7:00 PM.

Following its LA premiere, Corpus Christi, McNally's controversial play about religion and homosexuality, will be performed by a cast that includes Aaron Lohr as Judas and Agustine Welles as Peter, Robb Leigh Davis, Nicholas Gray, Gavin Starr Kendall, Dan Kolodny, Chris Leavell, Gregory Marcel, Michael Pesce, Thom Rivera, Derek Roché, Ric Sechrest, and Lucas Steele as Joshua.  The production will be staged by Adam Fitzgerald.

As described in a press statement, "kef productions is an independent producing company that helps small theatre companies and individual artists produce singular works. Rather than predetermine a season, kef productions looks for projects fueled by the desire of the individual artist. Producing Directors Adam Fitzgerald and Lori Prince strive to raise standards and produce theatre that is exciting and relevant to both the audience and the artists."
