SATURDAY AM UPDATE:

Bundle up, New York! Winter Storm Jonas is on his way, and he's sure to leave lots of snow, ice, and chaos in his wake.

The Governor has called a state of emergency, encouraging everyone to stay home, and the Mayor says people should stay off the road and that authorities will be enforcing this. Check out the details below!

Update 12:20 PM - Disney has announced that both ALADDIN and THE LION KING have cancelled today's performances. Details here.

Actor's Equity President Kate Shindle tweeted:

EQUITY MEMBERS: we have been in contact with the @TheBwayLeague about weather. PLEASE CALL your company manager before you leave home for latest update. if you must leave now, your show may still be cancelled; take a bag in case you have to be put in a hotel tonight.

So far, there are no cancellations for any other Broadway shows this weekend, but stay tuned to BroadwayWorld for regular updates.

#Blizzard2016 in NY is forecasted up to 24 inches of snowfall, with high gusts of wind & potential flooding along NYC and LI coastlines.
