AMERICAN IDOL favorite and recent Glee guest star Jessica Sanchez sounds off on her American Idol tenure and how this year's competition stacked up against last year's as well as reveals new details about her gig guesting on Glee in a new red carpet interview.

In looking back on the stress surrounding the preparation for performing in final IDOL shows last season, Sanchez states, "Ugh, it's like so much! It's so stressful, but, deep down in your heart, you're like, 'I want this!'"

As for not nabbing the top trophy herself? "I mean, I became a runner-up and I did the season finale of GLEE, I am going to be on finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS performing; my album's out... my single is out! It's only been a year!" Sanchez says of her continued success.

So, what about her Glee character Frida Romero? "It was definitely fun!" Sanchez relates with a laugh of her time on FOX musical dramedy mega-hit.

"It was actually really like acting because the character was a mean girl - she was really mean - and I'm not like that! I'm not bold like that!" Sanchez opines.

And, what about sharing the screen with the gleeks of McKinley High themselves? "The cast was amazing - I love acting and I would love to do it in the future, so Ryan Murphy please hit me up!" she comments.

Also: "We killed it!" Sanchez says of Romero and the Hoosier Daddies on the Glee finale - so, with that in mind, let's hope for a reprise of her character in Season Five!
