STAR TREK: THE ULTIMATE VOYAGE Coming to Madison Square Garden in 2016

MSG Entertainment and Live Nation announced today that Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage will take the Theater at Madison Square Garden stage on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 8:00PM, as part of their North American concert tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12:00PM.

Patrons will experience the Star Trek franchise's revolutionary and wildly popular musical achievements performed by a live orchestra, while the most iconic Star Trek film and TV footage is simultaneously beamed in high definition to a 40-foot wide screen. This never-before-seen concert event is perfect for music lovers, film-goers, science-fiction fans and anyone looking for an exciting and unique concert experience.

Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage will be produced and conducted by CineConcerts founder Justin Freer, who has quickly become one of the most sought-after conductors of film music with a long list of full symphonic live to projection projects under his belt, ranging from the The Lord of the Rings Trilogy to The Godfather to Gladiator. He has appeared with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony and Sydney Symphony. "The Star Trek franchise has for many years been an important and meaningful part of our culture in so many ways," says Freer, "This exciting concert experience, featuring the greatest music and visuals spanning five decades, will be an extraordinary and memorable event."

Tickets are available to the general public on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12:00PM through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets are available in person on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and The Beacon Theatre box offices.
